After ThoughtsKatara tiptoed into the room, like she had for the last two weeks. It wasn't necessary, as the others had been more than happy to point out. But even after doing this every day for fourteen straight days, she still felt as though she didn't belong here. None of them did.   
The world's last hope lay comatose in the bed, as he had when she set him there. She shouldn't have expected him to wake up when the door creaked open-he never did. But she never allowed herself to give in fully to that doubt. It was like counting on the Sun not to rise. It would be letting go of hope. And hope was all they had left.

The Crown Prince of the Fire Nation picked himself up from the rocks. Dusting himself off, he surveyed the scene before him.   
The Avatar lay dead at his feet.   
It had been a most satisfying battle. The Avatar had proven to be a worthy opponent, but in the end, he had emerged victorious.

As she described the North Pole to Toph, Katara realized just how much she took for granted when using her eyes. Things that she had never noticed during her last visit were now things she had to focus on intently in order to accurately relay them to Toph. She was surprised by how long and detailed she needed to make her descriptions so that the other girl could understand.   
It barely left her time to breathe.   
"Aang," she panted after a few minutes, "take over please? You have better lungs."

Too Much Free Time

I just spent four hours organizing my faves. Holy shit. I really like the way it came out, though, and it's a lot easier to navigate than before. How did I collect such a massive number of favorites? I went to other people's faves and picked out what I liked. I don't trust this site's search function.

I've also been doing a lot of editing on TVTropes. As if just reading the articles on that site wasn't time-consuming enough. Blame my new obsession with Uncharted 2, which is one of the greatest games I have ever played. I saw that the page on it was sorely lacking, so I resolved to add a few examples of my own. I am a crazy person.

As for my writing, I have more ideas right now than I know what to do with. I'm working on a follow-up oneshot to After Thoughts, as well as updates for my two major fics. I hope to have everything updated after Christmas.

I might not get to do things like this anymore, because I've decided to get a second job. $800-$1000 a month just isn't cutting it. At least I don't have to worry about school, since I haven't gone in two years. Still, it's doubtful that I'll have as much time as I used to. I hate real life.
